CharterQuest is proud to celebrate the outstanding performance of two of our students, Nicole Naidoo and Thabani Chinamona, who achieved top results in the June 2025 ACCA examinations. Their stories reflect not just academic success, but also the spirit of consistency, resilience, and guided support that CharterQuest aims to provide every student on the ACCA journey.

Nicole, a finance professional returning to formal study after several years in industry, set her sights on simply passing the challenging Audit & Assurance paper. But by leaning into weekly topic focus areas, taking marked practice tests, and applying concepts like a real-world auditor, not just memorising theory, she achieved far more.

Her disciplined approach, supported by the guidance of CQ’s faculty and mentors, helped her break through the self-doubt of restarting study after a long academic break.

Part of a Proud Tradition

Nicole and Thabani’s achievements, as you will soon see, continue a powerful legacy at CharterQuest. For several years, CQ students have consistently ranked among the top ACCA performers in South Africa—across subjects, exam sittings, and study formats.

Recent Top Performer (SA Top Students) Highlights:

  •         2021: Sibongile Sibanda - Advanced Financial Management, December 2021

  •         2019: Arnold Msipa - Financial Reporting, June 2019

  •         2018: Vera Christow - Strategic Business Reporting, Dec 2018

  • 2017: Thami Tshilane - Financial Reporting, June 2017

  •         2016: Reneilwe Ntshwarang - Top Affiliate, SA, June 2016

CharterQuest has become a proven incubator of ACCA excellence year after year, with students regularly achieving top national and even global distinctions. This consistent success reflects not only individual brilliance but the strength of CQ’s support system, structured learning approach, and commitment to long-term student growth.

Balancing work and study, Thabani approached the TX (Taxation) paper not with rote learning, but with a mindset of principle-based understanding. He credits exam-condition practice, strategic time management, and consistent effort for his success.

Thabani’s story showcases how students can shift from passive reading to active learning—and how CQ’s tuition structure helped him focus his energy smartly.

Why Their Stories Matter Now

Both Nicole and Thabani exemplify what continues to make CQ’s ACCA training program stand out:

  • Personalised support from tutors and mentors

  • Practical learning strategies that go beyond memorization

  • A flexible study format for busy professionals

  • Easy access to both Kaplan and BPP resources, the only provider in South Africa to offer both
